HYSSOP. Essential oil.

The essential oil of HISOO Cineol, is obtained by steam drag from the Hyssopus officinalis plant.

This plant is originally from the Iberian Peninsula.

Hyopos are herbaceous plants or subarbustive that form dense bars and reach 60 cm high. The leaves are dark green and elongated. The flowers are presented in spikes and are blue (sometimes pink or white).

It blooms during the summer, being its collection at the end of September.

The plant is very used in beekeeping, giving an excellent honey rich in aroma.

Its leaves serve as an aromatic seasoning, having a slightly bitter taste and an intense mental aroma, which also makes it a basic component in spirits.

Traditional medicine uses it as a natural remedy for colds.

It has balsamic, expectorant, antitusive, antiseptic and stimulating digestion properties.

Its essential oil has a psychoanalytic and antibiotic effect.
